Overview
The Howard Center examines how the $4 billion set aside in the CARES Act to protect homeless people during the COVID-19 pandemic was used in local communities across the country. In addition to six digital stories, the project includes photo essays, motion graphics and an interactive database. This was the second in a two-part series on COVID-19 and homelessness. Nearly 50 professional news outlets nationwide published stories from this project.
